Inter-Church Committee Faith based women working groups in Yei County joined the globe in conducting the annual world day of prayers on Friday.
The prayer day which is conducted at St Phillip Zamba is under the theme get your mat raise up and walk.
Deacon Mary Annite Alfred while giving homily tells Christians that focusing their thoughts on God moves them to praise Him and get to know and appreciate him.
She advised the faithful to thank God individually for what He has done to them and the country at large.
Annite advises the worshipers to give their lives to Christ and listen to what God tells them through preaching because the strength of God can help Christians overcome pain and trials.
She called on the faithful to always pray that God delivers protect and sustain them in all times of danger and difficulties.
Annite urged the worshipers to pray hard for the Country leaders to complete the formation of the transitional government of national unity because currently the Country is very vulnerable like a lame person.
The Deacon was preaching on Friday at St Phillip Zamba Church in Yei during the World Women Day of prayers.
