Dier Rehabilitation Development Association in partnership with Save the Children international trained twenty-five youth from government institutions and civil society organizations in Lakes State.
The training was to inform stakeholders to give psychological support to young people affected by the conflict in Lakes region, Good News Radio reported.
Association Youth Resilience Officer James Domkoch Ayiu said the training was to build the capacity of young people and will provide starting kits to begin their businesses.
Domkoch appealed to the young people to change the people’s mindset from war to peaceful.
Meanwhile Gabriel Mabor Mangar advised youth to stop wasting time playing cards, but work hard for the betterment of the society.
The speakers made the remarks in an exclusive interview with Good News Radio on Thursday in Rumbek.
