Presidency condemns violence in Pibor and Jonglei

President Salva Kiir, First Vice, Dr Riek Machar and the four vice presidents condemned the violence in Jonglei State and Pibor Administrative Area.
 
Vice President Dr James Wani Igga told the press on Wednesday that the president and his deputies in their first meeting forgave each other and urged South Sudanese people to forgive and also pray for them.
 
He said the president asked the people of the young country to embark on reconciliation, and forgiveness to heal the broken social fabrics.
 
The president and vices in their meeting, called on IDPs in UN camps and refugees in the neighbouring counties to return home, vowing to try their best to resettle them, Dr Wani Igga explained.
 
He noted that the presidency expects Rome meeting to come out with positive breakthrough to realize total peace in South Sudan.
 
Vice President Wani Igga disclosed that committees are working on the new cabinet and after completion the ministers will be announced.
