President appoints First Vice and witnesses Security Advisor’s swearing in

President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Friday appointed First Vice President Dr Riak Machar Teny and witnessed the swearing in to office the Presidentiaol Advisor on Security Affairs and Minister in the office of the president.
 
In decrees read over South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation, the president appointed James Wani Iga, Taban Deng Gai and Rebecca Nyandeng Garang as Vice Presidents in the transitional government.
 
He reappointed Tut Gatluak Manime, Presidential Advisor on Security Affairs and Mayik Ayii Deng as minister in his office.
 
President Kiir earlier decreed the relieved of the first vice president, Taban Deng Gai vice president James wani Igga and the whole cabinet.
 
He also witnessed the swearing in to office of Tut Gatluak and Mayik Ayii Deng and advised them to stand firm in the transitional government.
 
President Kiir also witnessed the swearing in of Dr Machar Teny, Dr Wani Igga, Taban Deng and Rebecca Nyandeng.
 
He is expected to issue another presidential decree for the appointment of the new cabinet on Saturday.
