The office of Public Health in Lakes State on Thursday started a five-day cleaning campaign in Rumbek town to avoid seasonal sicknesses.
Acting Senior Inspector James Magok Akec told Good News Radio that they staged massive campaign in the main market as the town becomes untidy, causing more diarrhoea and cough.
He said the campaign will target restaurants, shops, offices and institutions within the rural area.
Health officer warns workers at the restaurants against pouring dirty water along the roads and urinating in basins.
