Citizens in Wau appreciate and welcome the decision by the president to return the country to its previous ten states plus three administrative areas of Ruweng, Pibor and Abyei.
Voice of Hope radio reports that many people were happy with the bold decision taken by the president.
They add President Salva Kiir knows citizens’ concern for peace.
Some reveal that, they had lost hope of peace in the country but the decision by the president renewed their hope and restored the doubt.
The citizens anticipate peaceful formation of the transitional government of national unity on February, 22nd 2020.
