Secretary-General of the defunct Yei River State Amule Felix appreciates the decision of the president to revert the country to ten states plus the three administrative areas.
He explained to Radio Easter that the decision has brought excitement to citizens, describing it as a bold political decision which will bring the nation back to peaceful stage.
Amule adds it is important because the president was the one who announced the thirty two states and he is also the one reverting to the ten states.
He noticed that the president loves peace and is for peace that is why he has taken the decision which favors citizens countrywide.
The president is a peace loving person, and all citizens of Yei are equally happy for the decision, the secretary stresses.
The head of the defunct state explains peace is what the people of Yei cherish and when there is peaceful environment, civilians are able to move freely, develop socially, and see prosperity and stabilization of their economic status.
The secretary general was speaking to Radio Easter on Monday in Yei.
