Yei citizens applaud President Kiir’s decision of return to ten states

Youths in Yei express their gratitude to the president for making a compromise to return to the former 10 states.
 
One of the young people who prefer not to be named says the president acted in accordance with the will and wishes of the people he is representing.
 
The young man stresses that it might have been one of the hardest decision taken by the president during this crucial time when citizens hope for peace and the formation of the transitional government of national unity.
 
Another young man Bosco says every young person wants peace in order to explore their talents and develop themselves.
 
He adds the long conflicts as deprived young people of all the things they would have enjoyed.
 
Bosco explains if returning the country to ten states is what brings peace to the country, they are in full support.
 
Another young woman Beatrice hopes that the decision by the president will help bring peace in the country.
 
She adds with peace young people will start focusing on their careers and education to improve their lives.
 
Another young woman Elizabeth is optimistic that those citizens in the camps can finally come home.
 
She cites that most of those suffering in the camps are youth without access to proper education.
 
Meanwhile another youth admires the president and described him as a bold leader and a liberator who thinks about his people.
 
The decision of the president was received with lots of happiness by citizens citing that it’s going to improve and stabilize the economy of the country.
 
Many youths say they expect the transitional unity government to be formed in a peaceful environment in order to strengthen the hope of citizens in the country at large.
