The media in Juba, South Sudan in collaboration with United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization are joining the globe to celebrate the World Radio Day.
This year’s event will is under the theme: ‘Radio and diversity for peaceful coexistence in South Sudan’.
The day is an opportunity brought together, radio broadcasters, listeners, the public, journalists, media actors and duty bearers to share their views on the role radio plays in promoting diversity and peaceful coexistence.
Local and national music artists will participate at the event.
The world Radio Day celebration started on Wednesday with peace conference in Juba.
