UK ambassador encourages Wau State government to invest on education

United Kingdom ambassador to South Sudan Chris Trot encouraged Wau State government to put more resources on education.
 
Voice of Hope Radio said the encouragement came when the ambassador visited Wau State Ministry of Education and met with the minister to discuss the developmental projects and partnership between government and the UK.
 
In order to build a better South Sudan everyone has to invest on education; he said while discussing relations between UK and South Sudan on how to improve education.
 
The diplomat expressed his joy for the great number of girls who graduated in their various learning institutions, since UK started its program in the country in 2014.
 
He urged youth to take education seriously because they are the future of this country.
 
Meanwhile State Minister of Education Michael Madut Chan revealed that the visit covered many topics such as girl education and how to keep youth in schools.
 
He disclosed that they are grateful to the people of UK for their unwavering support on education in South Sudan.
 
The officials made the remarks to Voice of Hope radio on Monday at Wau State Ministry of Education.
