Late Artist David Pacong body laid to rest in Rumbek

The remains of late artist David Pachong, who died on 31st January in Juba after battling illness for long, were laid to rest on Tuesday in Rumbek.
 
He started his musical career in 2005 after the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.
 
The late artist Pachong, composed Garang Dana Huria (Garang gave us freedom) as his first song in 2006 for the success of CPA in Kenya.
 
One of the former Little Dove Promoters, Ajing Majak, described David Pacong as a legend and great teacher in South Sudanese musical industry.
 
He urged his fellow artists to carry on the legacy of David Pacong in the music industry.
 
David Pacong started as a Gospel artist and formed Little Dove Choir musical group at Presbyterian Church in Uganda in 2005.
 
He was regarded as the person who revolutionized music in Lakes State in the earlier days.
