Western Lakes State Police spokesperson is warning citizens to avoid running to the direction of gunshots.
Captain Elijah Mabor told Good News radio that it is dangerous to chase the gun sound as one may be caught by a cross bullet.
Captain Mabor says it is the chasing of the suspect by the security organs while resisting to be arrested.
The spokesperson talked sporadic gunshots were heard on Sunday afternoon at Cumcok and Makuriric in Rumbek town that sparked noise from the public on what was the shooting about.
