Catholic priest of Rumbek Diocese has warned young people against destroying food stuffs and villages during fighting.
Fr. John Skinder in his preaching on Sunday at holy Cross Parish advised Christians to avoid demolishing houses of vulnerable families in their clashes.
The Catholic prelate added that a lot of mothers and children are unhappy in the country due to the ongoing conflict.
He urged believers to distance themselves from doing evil things but think about the suffering of their own people.
The clergy was giving his homily to the congregation in Rumbek.
