Manloor Commissioner Paul Mangong confirmed that there is peaceful coexistence between farmers and pastoralists in his county.
He said they are implementing Marial Baai agreement resolutions including migration period, deployment of joint forces, accountability and formation of joint court.
Mangong added that Tonj and Gogrial States are progressing well in implementing the agreement.
Commissioner asked government of Wau State to provide security to avoid criminal activities to avoid misunderstanding between farmers and pastoralists.
The commissioner mentioned that last year flood destroy all crops in the county and they are going to face problem of food insecurity and health.
He appealed to the national government and humanitarian agencies to intervene to rescue the situation of the people in Manloor County.
The official made the remark to Voice of Hope Radio in Wau on Wednesday.
