Seven hundred people in Masana seek shelters, says chief

More than one hundred and fifty households in Masana Beera were evacuated out from their houses by Municipal authorities due to training center leaving them in miserable life condition of seeking for shelters.
 
One of the women Justina Amel told Voice of Hope Radio that they are lacking basic services after the municipality evacuated them.
 
She added that now they are living under the mango trees and are seriously suffering from cold.
 
William Malek, one of the youth, said they accepted to move out from their houses in Masana Beera because of peace implementation, but are very disappointed with the state authorities.
 
Sheikh of Masana Beera, Dor Majok, called on the state government to look into their situations because women, children and elders are suffering from cold.
 
He added that they are lacking shelters, health services and water among others.
 
Mayor Elizabeth Mario in a telephone call asked the people of Masana Beera to be patient because they are still looking for solutions.
