Torit State Director for Nationality, Passport and Migration John Mading is telling South Sudanese to preach peace in their daily life, for real tranquility to prevail in the country.

Speaking to Radio Emmanuel, he advised citizens to stop all forms of criminal activities in the state and promote peaceful co-existence among themselves.

It is the sole responsibility of every South Sudanese to advocate and speak about peace, Mading said.

‘Let us be peaceful, let us think peace, let us work for peace. Let us preach peace, when we talk of peace we will not make a crime against each other, against the community and against the government, against citizens and against foreigners. when we are not making any crime about any neighbor or about any person and then we have already engage the peace’ he appealed.

Madding added that ‘our country will be peaceful, our states will be peaceful, our community will be peaceful, so my message is peace will be within us and we are the ones to invite it to come and we are the ones to speak and preach it to the people and we are the ones to benefit from this peace not the UNIMSS. not the government alone’.

Director Mading call on South Sudan leaders to commit themselves in resolving conflicting issues for lasting peace to prevail in the Country.

He called on citizens to forget the past and embrace peace because it starts within one’s heart and be extended to others.

‘I just want to inform our citizens in the state and whole the country, first of all we have to be peaceful we have to engage this peace is for us not for the government is for the people of South Sudan. This peace needs our hand, our commitment through you and I, when we are peaceful with you and then the other neighbor are peaceful then we bring the peace. Peace is within us, we have to start within us and then it goes to the counties, the state and all South Sudan’, he clarified.
