Mayor of Tonj Joseph Anei Madoor Maluacdit on Tuesday issued an order banning all local alcohol brewing in the town.
According to Don Bosco Radio, the order came out after the long search on effect of alcohol to human health which had weakened efforts to zero level.
Anei expressed hopefulness that the organized forces will follow government directives to implement the order.
Youth Representative Joseph Makuek Chiman applauded the order, saying the decision taken by the authorities is good to control young people from dying.
Alcohol is not the only option of better life, he noted.
The officials spoke to Don Bosco Radio in Tonj after the Mayoral order.
