African Inland Church Women Coordinator in Torit says this long suffering South Sudanese go through, can only come to an end when everybody put love and forgiveness into practice.
The statement came after parties to the agreement failed to agree on the number and boundaries of states provided in the peace agreement.
Radio Emmanuel quotes Women Coordinator Keji Santa Bilton urging her fellow women to educate and preach love and forgiveness to the young once for lasting peace to prevail.
‘My advice to all women is that, let them bring up their children with knowledge of forgiveness and love for one another. This is very important. South Sudanese are greedy that let conflicts to continue, our children are dying, let them teach their children forgiveness so that when children are brought up in a good heart, they will leave this conflict not to continue, they will stop all wrong things and the good ones will come’
Meanwhile a member of African Inland Church women group in Torit, Winny Liberio encourages South Sudanese to clean their hearts and respect human dignity.
‘We should prepare our hearts to be clean, as the Bible says always let us remember that beauty is Holy internal and Holy Beauty, if you are born Brown, or black in most we do consider that black skin is bad but God says it is beautiful, God made us that we have to stay if am created black let me remain like that, that is what He wants me to be and I know am beautiful in front of God’.
Women Director for African Inland Church, South Sudan Paula Achan Omoya says her team is currently training over fifty women on leadership and women cycle skills.
‘The women cycle of life is about the cycle life of a woman. What is needed out of a woman when we see. We are the Church based and we need to give these women the biblical context of how they can live according to God’s creation. When we see in the Bible, a woman is created to be a helper to the husband so we want to see a woman live in a life that shows that they are suitable’
