‘We will continue to pray for peace’, Bishop emphasizes

Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Yei stresses that the church will continue to pray until peace prevails in South Sudan.
 
Speaking to Radio Easter at Christ the King Cathedral, Erkolano Lodu Tombe hopes the government, African Union and the international community will try their best to see that unity government is peacefully formed in February.
 
He asks South Sudanese from other parts of the country to join Yei in prayers.
 
Bishop Lodu calls on the government and the opposition forces to maintain the ceasefire.
 
He asks Christians to put more effort in prayers until a peaceful and strong unity government is formed.
 
The Bishop calls on the people to seek God’s intervention to succeed in the search for peaceful country to reduce the current suffering.
 
The religious leader was giving his message to the Christians of Christ the King Cathedral on Sunday in Yei.
