Development Organization trains women and youth on post conflict

Kindness for Community Development Organization or KICDO in partnership with Democracy International DI trained youth and women on their roles in the post conflict period ahead of the formation of national government on February 22.
 
KICDO Acting Executive Director, Yuhana Philip, said the past conflict ended questioning youth that now peace has prevailed what is the next step toward development, Voice of Hope Radio reported.
 
The chairperson of Democracy International Natale Lual added said the role of every individual after the conflict is crucial.
 
He urged people to unite for lasting peace to exist in the country and to heal all wounds in the hearts of every South Sudanese.
 
Government representative, Lino Unango Albino advised participants to be ambassadors and preachers of peace in communities for stability to reign.
 
The training brought together about 30 women and youth from different institutions in Wau State.
