SPLM-North and Sudan government make progress on issues of two areas

SPLM-North led by Malik Agar and Sudan government led by member of the Sovereign Council Lieutenant General Shamseldin Kabashi made a huge progress on issues of Nuba Mountains and Blue Nile.
 
South Sudan Mediation member Dhieu Mathok told the press on Wednesday that the parties discuss resources and power system, land and national projects in the two areas.
 
Darfur protocol was presented to Sudan transitional government on the power sharing and distribution of jobs for Darfurians in public institutions, Mathok explained.
 
The mediators accepted the request of Darfur and forwarded it to the Sudan transitional government to study and respond within 72 hours, he added.
 
Last December, Sudan Revolutionary Front Alliance suspended peace negotiations after bloody clashes broke out between tribesmen in El Geneina, West Darfur that resulted to many casualties and wounded individuals.
 
The official spoke on Wednesday to the press after series of meetings in Juba.
