Yei Governor tells SSPDF in Lasu to be disciplined

Governor of Yei River State Emmanuel Adil Anthony on Friday for the peace to progress well, South Sudan People’s Defense Forces should have disciplined. 
 
He said during his visit and briefing forces at Lasu Payam of Otogo County in Yei River state told soldiers to defend their base because they are implementing the Revitalized Peace Agreement, Radio Easter reported.
 
Adil urged the soldiers to restore their relationship with civilians such that those who ran away due to fighting return to the area and continue peaceful coexistence.
 
Obede Taban, Acting Chairperson for South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission in the state, said a number of civilians and children are suffering from sicknesses due to displacement.
 
He also appealed to the humanitarian organizations to quickly intervene and rescue the situation of the civil population by providing medicines and shelters.
 
The official cited a difficulty of congestion that over 741 people are packed in one small place.
 
The two leaders spoke while briefing the forces at Lasu Payam of Otogo County of Yei River State over the weekend.
