Staff of Caritas South Sudan joined the family and Madi community to mourn their fellow worker Ojoadi Francis Kenyi who died on 20 December in car accident in Loa along Juba-Nimule highway.
Sixteen-members headed by Parliamentary Liaison Coordinator of the Sudan and South Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference, Isaac Kenyi Kungur.
He described the death of Francis as very painful the staff knelt and cried at the tomb of their colleague before the prayer.
Kenyi consoled the family and told them that the presence of the Caritas’ staff is to show solidarity and love late Francis had shown while serving South Sudanese.
He advised late Francis’ widow, children and family members to be patient while they continue to grief.
During the prayer Catechist Edema Augustine said the school and poultry farm projects of the late will remind people of his good life in the community.
He asked all mourners to follow the footsteps of late Francis whom he described as good person with open heart and wisdom.
Local Community leader of Loricho West in Elegu, Akule Hassan, advised the family to follow the good examples of the late humanitarian worker.
He appreciated the team from Juba and wished them a safe return home.
The leaders spoke on Tuesday during memorial prayers of Ojoadi Francis Kenyi who died in a car accident on 20 December on Juba-Nimule road.
He was buried on 23 December at Uganda and South Sudan border Elegu
