Priest urges citizens to be agents of change in South Sudan

The Parish Priest of Holy Cross in Rumbek calls on citizens and faithful to work for change and freedom in South Sudan.
 
Fr. John Skinyder says people should not depend only on politicians to bring new life and hope but every citizen should do their part in promoting peace in the country.
 
Fr. Skinyder urges those in position of trust to stop misusing their powers.
 
He adds power should be used for the wellbeing of every citizen.
 
Meanwhile Loreto Girls’ Secondary School Director, Sister Orla Treacy requests faithful and students to continue spreading peace messages in their communities.
 
The speakers were giving their New Year’s message to congregation on Wednesday at Holy Cross Parish in Rumbek.
