Separation was the almost unanimous choice of Western Equatorial voters during the referendum polls.
Almost 212 thousand voted for separation against just over 1,000 for unity.In Nagero Count only two voters marked the unity option while in Ezzo nine favoured union with the North.
Over 214 thousand people took part in the elections in Western Equatoria.
The results were released yesterday by the referendum authorities in Yambio.
