Returnees from northern Sudan are complaining about lack of assistance from the concerned authorities to resettle them in South Sudan.

Sources at the UNHCR say that some 180 thousand people returned to South Sudan since last October.

Flora Alfred Ladu, a mother of two children, is among those who came home. She lamented to Bakhita Radio lack of assistance from any government or NGO.

She confirmed that the International Organization for Migration gave her food, oil and mosquito net in Kosti.

Josephine Dominic is a 31-year old mother of four children. She called both GoSS and Central Equatoria governments to settle the returnees in their places of origin.

She said many returnees lost their dear ones in South Sudan and have nowhere to live.

Both mothers said they were not willing to return to North Sudan.

They added they did not get any aid since they arrived at Juba river port.
