State Governor urges citizens to stand for peace

The governor of Yei River State is urging the people of South Sudan and Yei state particularly to strongly stand for peace.
 
Emmanuel Adil Anthony explains there are some reports of incidences in Lasu, Bereka and other parts that need to be addressed.
 
He mentions that there is a continued deployment of soldiers to cantonment areas in Panyume and Moroto with food provision to support and facilitate their training.
 
Governor Adil calls on other groups still in bushes to give civilians the chance to enjoy peace.
 
The governor says citizens have suffered enough and those still holding firearms should surrender them in order for everlasting peace to reign in the country.
 
He believes that the year 2020 will bring peace in the country and the hearts of citizens.
 
The official appreciates the religious leaders for their continued support of praying for peace in the nation.
