Catholic Bishop of Torit Ameyu Martin Mulla on Tuesday night baptized one hundred and fifteen infants including thirty-five gown-up children in Torit.
Radio Emmanuel quoted him homily at Sts Peter and Paul’s Cathedral reminding Christians that Baptism removes the original sin.
Bishop Ameyu said Christmas is a special call to all believers in Christ to hope for a life that is coming tomorrow.
He stressed that hope is a capacity to live a life for the next coming years.
Bishop Ameyu acknowledged that many people are touched by fear of what is expected to happen, encouraging the congregation to take security in Christ.
He said Christ is always there to control every situation.
Bishop Ameyu prayed that the birth of Christ Jesus may bring light to expel darkness.
