Police Commissioner warns soldiers against shooting during Christmas

Stop disturbing peace by not shooting guns during Christmas celebrations, Major General Yuasa Lujang Kamba, Commissioner of Police in Yei River State warned soldiers and citizens who are holding guns on Tuesday.
 
He cautioned that any body found guilty of breaking the law will be apprehended and be put in police custody until the beginning of the New Year, Radio Easter reported.
 
Major General Lujang added that those who will drink and disturbs on the street will as well be considered criminals and be punished by being detained in police custody until the New Year.
 
Commissioner of Police mentions that the government is working hard to reduce the rate of crimes in the town.
 
He believes that every good has its beginning and the end and expects that formation of the transitional government in February 2020.
 
Major General Yuasa Lujang wishes a happy Christmas and a prosperous year 2020 to citizens of Yei River State and South Sudan at large,
 
He advised people not to panic seeing the presence of the join security patrol team to provide security and property of the civilians.
 
The Police Commissioner spoke to Radio Easter in an exclusive interview at the police headquarters on Tuesday in Yei.
