Religious Women Group from different denominations for peace conducted prayers in Wau State Legislative Assembly.
Voice of Hope Radio quoted Reverend Angelina Ayen Chagai saying the Assembly is one of the government institutions where voices of people are presented.
Minister of Gender, Child and Social Welfare, Christina Gabriel Ali, asked the women group to continue praying for the government and the people of South Sudan to achieve lasting peace in the country.
The Speaker of Wau State Legislative Assembly, Anyar Anyar Dor, appreciated efforts of women group for organizing prayers at the parliament.
Prayers will give members of parliament power to set up laws that will guide the entire citizens of Wau State.
Women started to organize prayers for peace in Wau at Council of Ministers, Army Headquarters Grinti and reached to Wau State Legislative Assembly.
