The Parish Priest of Saints Peter and Paul, Gidel of the Catholic Diocese of El Obeid called on Christians to prepare themselves spiritually to receive the Lord in their hearts.
Fr James William Silgat, while preaching on Sunday urged faithful to reconcile with one another, confess their sins in order to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ in peaceful way on Wednesday.
He advised Christians to solve their problems amicably as Joseph did when he was trying to divorce Mary secretly when she was pregnant.
The priest also called on Christians to pray and be patient when there is indifference so that the Lord can give them wisdom and courage to guide them in resolving their disputes.
Father William was preaching at Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Gidel on Sunday.
