Western Lakes State authority in collaboration with Oxfam organised a three-day multi-stakeholders forum on good governance.
The forum aims at improving service delivery and sustains community peace and security of the citizens in the state.
State Governor Solomon Mamhoud Deer Agok says the meeting deliberates on collaboration, coordination, mechanism and share challenges and develop roadmap for community peace and security.
The Governor adds that the forum will also empower state government and partners to improve on its administration and governance.
He urges County Commissioners to engage local chiefs in the revitalized peace agreement to bring lasting peace to the country.
Minister of Local Government and Law Enforcement Mawet Manuer notes that the forum will help commissioners to protect their people.
The three-day multi-stakeholders round-table is expected to end on 20th December 2019 at hill view hotel in Rumbek.
