The newly appointed Archbishop of Juba is appealing to Christians to put Jesus Christ in front of them.

‘Let us put Christ first in front of us. He will lead us to many things’ The Lord has chosen me to take a bigger Cross which I am unable to take. I know it, but because of the will of God, I have accepted to carry this Cross. It is the will of God to be done. in our lives, we have a master in front of us, but as the day avails everyday and covers a lot of mystery and we come to know our history that this is the way God would like us to move’, Archbishop adds.
Earlier this year, the Holy Father appointed Stephen Ameyu as the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Torit and he served the diocese for eight months.
On December 12th, 2019, Bishop Stephen was appointed as the metropolitan archbishop of the Catholic Church.
