Ninety eight percent of voters in Central Equatoria chose separation in the referendum polls.
The preliminary results for the State were released this morning.More than 457 thousand cast their vote, a turnout of 96.7 percent.
Of those, over 449 thousand voted for separation and almost 5,000 for unity.
In Terekeka County only 27 people out of some 43 thousand chose unity, the lowest score in the state.
In Kajokeji, Lainya, Morobo and Terekeka separation scored 99 percent and 98 percent in Juba and Yei.
