Official urges host communities to welcome returnees

A press secretary of Torit State governor is urging the host communities of Pajok to welcome returnees and coexist peacefully.
 
Oringa John Godfrey says citizens should offer good receptions for the returnees who are already back home.
 
He also advises returnees to get registered at Payam level for humanitarian’s assistances. 
 
‘Welcoming returnees who are coming back home and also advising them that however they are coming back home they need to get registered by Payam administrator or Boma chief so that they are known and humanitarian access should be given to them immediately’.
 
John calls on relief and rehabilitation commission at county level to monitor situations of returnees. 
 
‘Office of South Sudan relief and rehabilitation commission, branches at the counties need to response to such situation so lively. We need your graphic influx as returnees, they had gone as refugees but they are coming back they are returnees it’s quit a privilege for them they feel welcomed”. 
 
The press secretary was speaking to the media on Monday in Torit.
