United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS in collaboration with Western Lakes State celebrates human rights day under the theme ‘Human rights and peace process’.
Speaking during the ceremony, John Oziebe says human rights are for everybody.
Oziebe adds that human rights do not guarantee people to commit crimes.
Western Lakes Deputy Governor Mathiang Deng Monydit urges citizens to know their rights.
He encourages South Sudanese to respect their rights so that theirs’ are also respected.
Human rights day is celebrated annually across the world on 10th December to address human rights issues.
