Wau State presents newly appointed executives to assembly

Wau government has presented the list of the newly appointed Executive body to the State Legislative Assembly for approval after swearing in.
 
In October this year, Wau State Governor Angelo Taban Biajo issued decree appointing new Ministers and sworn them in without approval from the assembly.
 
State Advisor on Education, Livio Bahara says it is by law that any appointment made by the governor, has to be submitted to the assembly for approval before swearing in.
 
The members of the state legislative assembly appreciate the Governor for the decision made to take the new executive Ministers to the assembly for approval.
 
The Acting Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly Viola Alexander Umeli says the new body was sworn in unconstitutionally, but now they are officially recognized.
 
The officials made the remarks to Voice of Hope Radio during the presentation of the executive body before the assembly.
