Women for Women and Resource Centre for civil leadership, Reconcile International, have on Saturday graduated 370 men and women after six months of training on social and economic empowerment.
Speaking during the graduation, State Minister of Gender Child and Social Welfare, Awate Esther John expressed happiness to the NGOs for training the people, Radio Easter reports.
Executive Chief of Sobe Boma, Oliver Aligo Mathew was happy to see women trained to be independent.
He urged non-governmental organizations to help citizens of Yei because they are vulnerable due to the ongoing conflict in the area.
The speakers made the remarks on Saturday at Jigomoni Church during the graduation in Yei.
