National dialogue committee organizes conference for religious leaders

The national dialogue committee has organized two days conference to more than 17 religious groups, including Muslims in Juba.
 
Dr Abraham Awolich is the Deputy Coordinator for Finance Administration at the National Dialogue Secretariat.
 
He says the conference aims at getting the views of the religious groups on the issues affecting South Sudan and possible solutions to the problems.
 
Former ECS Archbishop Daniel Deng Bul urges the government to give the church a chance to participate in reconciliation and peace building among South Sudanese.
 
He calls on the government to provide security in the country to allow peace disseminators to do their work safely.
 
Pastor Emmanuel Ramadan advises parties to stop killing innocence people in South Sudan.
 
He regrets that peace lovers are being killed, but war lovers are promoted.
 
The church members were speaking on Monday during the two days religious groups’ conference under theme ‘Come Let’s Dialogue, Come Let’s Heal Our Nation’
