The County Commissioner of Man-lor County in Tonj State calls for humanitarian support to rescue floods victims who have been displaced.
Speaking to Don Bosco Radio over telephone interview, Paul Mangong Awac states that five Payams in Man-lor County have been over flooded.
He mentions that the floods started since 12th August when a heavy rainfall occurred in the area until now.
The floods displaced over three thousand households, he discloses.
Awac urges the state government and well-wishers to quickly intervene with basic needs especially medical assistance and shelter to the homeless people.
He stresses that there are several cases of death among the affected population including pregnant mothers and children due to the outbreak of water born diseases.
