The inmates of Tonj Prison have received nine hundred and forty bags of different food items from Tulba Company limited, reveals Marko Awuoc Kuot Director-General of Prison Services.
He explains that this is the first time prison has received food ratio in the state, Don Bosco Radio reports.
John Mapuor Mangar, company manager stated that they have been operating in some parts of the country, not only Tonj State.
Inmates’ affairs officer representatives from Juba stresses that the prison authority at the national level are working hard to ensure that prisoners are well fed.
One of the inmates appreciates the decision being done by the authorities and Tulba Company for tirelessly providing food aid.
The leaders made their remarks over the weekend in Tonj main prison.
