Put interest in God the Creator, Parish Priest of Christ the King Cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of Yei Tom Poru Martin encourages the faithful on Sunday.
He advised the worshipers to move nearer to God and pray daily in order to be close to Jesus Christ and God, Radio Easter reports.
Fr Poru told the faithful to not to be far from God despite all challenges they are undergoing.
God wants the Christians to speak the truth because lying leads to committing another sin, Fr Tom stressed.
He explained that in South Sudan today some Christians do not accept their sins and change their lives, but wants God to bless and help them in the bad things they are doing.
The priest cited that there is time for resurrection and that judgment waits everyone.
He explained that if the religious leaders do not say the truth they will be the first to be judged.
The parish priest was giving his homily on Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral in Yei.
