Jubek Governor applauds Church for providing services to South Sudanese

Governor of Jubek State Augustino Jadallah Kamilo Wani appreciated the Catholic Church in South Sudan for providing health, education services and refuge to South Sudanese in dare situation.
 
Addressing the celebration of the 100 years of faith at All Saints Parish Rejaf on Friday, he said the Church has been providing education and health services to South Sudanese.
 
Governor of Kapoeta Louis Lobong Lojore also acknowledges the work of the church in guiding Christians. 
 
He calls for cooperation between the Church and the government.
 
‘I congratulate the Archbishop in Juba particularly the Catholic Church for guiding Christians up to this time. My appeal to the Church as it is put in the theme ‘Renew the faith and respond to the challenges. Let us cooperate between the Church and the government’, says Lobong.
 
‘All leaders, whether in the Church or civil, are selected by God and there is need to cooperate. For the last three years also we have challenges when we decided to destroy and fight ourselves and start pointing fingers to one another. Now we are celebrating this centenary, let us open a new page to cooperate for the benefits of all the people of South Sudan’, he notes.
 
The Governor of Kapoeta State added that Christians are mobilizing funds to build the church at Kapoeta which was destroyed during the war.
 
Alberio Tobiolo Oromo, Governor of Torit State encouraged religious leaders to continue preaching the word of God in the country.
 
The centenary celebration marked a century of Juba Archdiocesan existence in South Sudan.
