Police authorities have detained at least two girls accused of stealing forty six thousand South Sudanese Pounds at Addis Ababa residential area in Torit town.
Police Spokesperson Ochan Mathew says the two arrested girls are below 16 years old.
He appreciates authorities for maintaining good security in the area.
Lt Col Ochan blames parents for failing to provide necessary support to their young girls that might have forced them to steal.
He calls on parents to monitor and take good care of their children.
Police spokesperson cautions young girls and boys to desist from stealing.
