FAO empowers Torit citizens on business skills

Food and Agriculture Organization has organized three days training on business skills to empower citizens in Torit to fight poverty.
 
Speaking to Radio Emmanuel participant Pia Angie Kiwa says with the knowledge acquired during the training, she is able to start a business of her own.
 
According to Pia before the training it was difficult to prepare business plan but now she has more ideas.
 
Meanwhile Agnes Poker Lazarus says without business there is no development.
 
She adds most women and men fail in business due to lack of business skills. 
 
Another participant Cabinet Charles advises community to engage in business to sustain their families.
 
Charles calls on South Sudanese to take business as their priority. 
 
The Acting head of Food and Agricultural organization Mohammed Tuhuslam says they are working hard to improve business in the state through trainings.
 
He calls on government to empower its citizens in business.
 
The participants for the training were drawn from three Counties of Ikwotos, Torit and Lopa.
 
The speakers made the statements during a three days’ workshop in Torit on Wednesday.
