The Vice Chancellor for Bahr-el-Ghazal University Victor Loku acknowledges the contribution of United Nations Development Program or UNDP in building peace in South Sudan.
Voice of Hope Radio quoted him saying ‘if peace doesn’t come from within our hearts, then we should not expect it to prevail in our country.
Loku encourages all people of South Sudan to contribute in peace building to enrich their hope with peace in order for the upcoming generation to enjoy its fruit.
He added that ‘God gave us the responsibility to attend to peace; therefore everyone should make his/her participation positively’.
The Vice Chancellor was speaking during a peace dialogue organized by University of Juba in collaboration with Bahr el Ghazal University in partnership with UNDP in Wau over the weekend.
