FAO to launch first livestock and farmers exhibition in Wau State

UN Food and Agricultural Organization or FAO announced a plan to organize livestock exhibition for the first time in Wau State.
 
FAO representative Francis Mawana says it is an event where all livestock owners are going bring their animals for judges to see their characteristics.
 
He adds that there are going to be rewards given to the cattle keeper who will present the best livestock in the competition.
 
Mawana explains that the competition is also going to comprise of the formers in order to present the best crop they have harvested this year
 
Mawana point out that they are also going to identify the best farmers and they are going to work hand in hand with them to spread the best practices in the state.
 
The FAO representative mentions that all local, national, and international NGOs, government officials, many other donors and the directors of different institutions are expected to attend the occasion.
