SPLM-IO Chairman Dr. Riek Machar threatens war over formation of unity government

The UN Security Council delegation is dismayed by the SPLM-IO Chairman Dr Riek Machar Teny statement that the ceasefire will be in jeopardise if the Revitalised Transitional Government of the National Unity will be formed on 12th November, says the Representative of the United States of America to the United Nations.
 
Ambassador Kelly Craft says the UN Security Council calling on the signatories to the agreement to accelerate the process in implementing the security arrangements and solve the issue of the numbers and boundaries of states.
 
The lead representative of Security Council and Permanent Representative of the Republic of South Africa to the United Nations Ambassador Jerry Matthews Matjila, says the unresolved issues can be discussed inclusively by the signatories to the peace accord.
 
Ambassador Matthews assures the public of the UN Security Council readiness to provide security to any leader that is in need of protection to resolve the other issues.
 
‘We don’t anticipate that the remaining problems are so huge to not able South Sudan to move to November 12th , we have urged all leaders to take care of their own people’, he adds.
 
The Acting Undersecretary of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Ambassador Machuai Malok, says that the country is committed to peace implementation, therefore the continues  impose embargo is necessary because every country  need defense equipment. He urges the UN security to lift the embargo.
 
The officials were speaking on Sunday during the visit of the twenty fifth delegation of the UN Security Council to Juba which met with the former warring parties’ leaders and the signatories to the agreement.
