Wau State Youth Union chairman David Santino Zimbele confirmed their participation at national elections conference of new body in Juba to run the office.
Voice of Hope Radio quoted him telling the media on Thursday that the conference arrangement has already started and now the fives names for chairmanship were submitted to compete for leadership.
Santino explained that they are preparing to move to Juba after two weeks to effectively partake in the national youth meeting, targeting positions of Secretary-general or secretary of foreign affairs.
The youth leader explained that Wau State Youth Office had made all the processes needed for the competition in the conference.
He says the law says each state presents five candidates aged between 18 and 35 years old
Santino assured the youth in the state that they are fully committed and responsible to face the challenge to be in the new executive body for national youth office.
He asked the young people to work hard for peace and stability to show good image to others.
The youth leader spoke to Voice of Hope Radio at the state secretariat after the swearing in to office of the new cabinet over the weekend.
