SPLM – North and Sudan’s Sovereign Council resume peace talks in Juba

‘The SPLM -N begins negotiations after the Sudanese government has responded to its requests for a cessation of hostilities in a documented manner’.
 
SPLM -N chief negotiator Amar Amun Deldum says the Sudanese government acknowledged violations and withdrew their troops from few kilometres behind Khor Warl area.
 
SPLM-N Secretary Arnu Ngotuto Lodi confirms to Radio Voice of Peace that Sudan’s Transitional Sovereign Council agreed on Friday on political issues, humanitarian and security arrangements and they have set up of declarations of principle that guides the negotiation among others.
 
The South Sudanese mediator has held two separate mediation meetings with the Sudan Revolutionary Front or SRF, a coalition of armed movement delegation concerning Darfur and the two areas the Nuba Mountains in South Kordofan and Blue Nile state.
 
All members of the SRF agreed that Juba should be the seat of the negotiations.
